About Us

East Oakland DREAMers was founded in 2009 to help undocumented students realize their college dreams. To date, the organization has raised nearly $30,000 to cover critical student expenses–such as tuition, rent, and food–while developing a peer-to-peer mentorship program that inspires future DREAMers to also attend college. East Oakland DREAMers are currently studying at a number of California colleges, including UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, and San Francisco State.
